Saturation Diving Suits & Oxygen Tanks Upgrade Chart
Compare Standard, Reinforced, and Atmospheric suits plus oxygen tank upgrades without relying on stale costs.
What is the best diving suit in Saturation Diving?
The best suit is the lowest tier that safely exceeds the deepest planned point while preserving mobility and budget. Standard, Reinforced, and Atmospheric describe a progression path, but a higher tier does not repair a weak oxygen plan or unknown return route.
How do the three suit tiers compare?
Compare pressure rating, movement effect, oxygen interaction, materials, and total cost in the live interface. This chart keeps the decision framework stable while leaving patch-sensitive numbers for the player to enter.
| Suit tier | Best use | Required live values | Upgrade decision |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | Early routes and first clears | Rating, movement, base cost | Keep while target depth has healthy margin |
| Reinforced | Mid-route pressure expansion | New rating, weight, ore and coin cost | Buy when Standard blocks the next objective |
| Atmospheric | Late-route planning | Maximum rating, mobility tradeoff, rare materials | Buy when pressure is the bottleneck |
Which oxygen tank upgrade is best?
Choose the tank that creates usable bottom time after travel, return, and emergency reserve are removed. A large capacity can still produce a weak route if drain is high or cargo slows extraction.
| Tank field | Current tank | Candidate upgrade |
|---|---|---|
| Capacity | Enter live value | Enter live value |
| Drain per minute | Enter live value | Enter live value |
| Capacity bonus | Enter displayed modifier | Enter displayed modifier |
| Weight or mobility | Record effect | Record effect |
| Coin and ore cost | Enter current price | Enter current price |
What should be upgraded first: suit or tank?
Upgrade the component that fails the next route’s hard gate. If target depth exceeds suit rating, oxygen cannot make the dive safe. If the suit passes but bottom time is zero, improve the tank or shorten the route.
Use the verified upgrades guide and progression guide before purchasing.
Which suit fits each zone?
Use live pressure ratings instead of hard-coding a tier. Start with The Flats and NSA Atlantica, then record the rating needed for the next objective shown by the current build.
