How do you clear Mid Ridge?

Use the ridge crest as the team’s navigation spine. Choose one side for the outbound path, mark a regroup point before descending, and return to the crest whenever the crew loses visibility or formation. Crossing repeatedly creates duplicate routes and weakens threat callouts.

What changes after Twilight Reef?

Mid Ridge places more value on pressure checks and vertical route discipline. A path that appears close can require a deeper descent, longer climb, or slower return under cargo. Recalculate oxygen instead of copying the Twilight Reef budget.

How should the route be divided?

Separate the run into crest, descent, work area, and ascent. Each part receives its own time limit. Captain announces the phase, Spotter checks the next lane, Engineer confirms pressure, and Salvager ends mining before the ascent budget is touched.

Use equipment that leaves positive pressure margin and enough mobility for the climb back. Compare current suit choices in the upgrade chart and record the real travel time after extraction.

How should monsters be handled around the ridge?

Preserve terrain advantage and do not descend toward an uncertain contact. Review the monster overview, and keep Engineer near the center during an ascent.

When is Mid Ridge complete?

A successful clear ends with the objective and crew recovered inside the planned budget. Optional ore and side passages are secondary. Repeat the route until ascent time and extraction margin are predictable.
