Saturation Diving Getting Started: Your First Dive

Start your first Saturation Diving run with a source-checked route through the tutorial, pipeline objective, and return prompt.

How do you start playing Saturation Diving?

Open the official Roblox experience, follow the tutorial and use the objective currently displayed in the HUD. In captured gameplay, a first-dive route descends to a named site, asks the crew to clear pipelines by mining Sanguinite, and later changes the objective to Return to the Diving Bell.

That sequence is verified in current gameplay footage, but it is not a promise that every site, run or future beta build uses exactly the same steps.

What is officially confirmed?

Roblox’s public experience description confirms the broad game loop:

  • Saturation Diving is a cooperative deep-sea horror and adventure experience;
  • players clean and mine deep-sea ore from pipes;
  • deeper dives can include holes, crash sites and frigid environments;
  • gear can be upgraded as the crew pushes deeper.

The enabled Primitive Diver badge also confirms a simple first milestone: complete your first dive. The official public records do not publish a universal beginner loadout, a fixed upgrade order or exact extraction rules.

What does current gameplay verify?

Community gameplay captures provide the missing tutorial details. These are observations from the game, not developer documentation.

Captured elementWhat the footage verifiesWhat it does not prove
Tutorial locationThe captured tutorial identifies The Flats in the Gulf of MexicoThat every new player always receives the same first site
Operations hubTutorial dialogue names NSA AtlanticaThe meaning of the initials or the hub’s full lore
Dive objectiveThe HUD displays Clear all pipelines while the crew mines SanguiniteA permanent rule for every mode, map and future update
Return objectiveAfter the captured final pipeline clear, the HUD changes to Return to the Diving BellThat the bell is always unavailable before that prompt

What should you do on a first dive?

  1. Use the verified Roblox link so you do not join a copy or unrelated experience.
  2. Read the tutorial dialogue and follow the current HUD objective instead of relying on an old route.
  3. Trace the visible pipelines and mine the attached Sanguinite growths. The Sanguinite guide explains which parts of this objective are confirmed.
  4. Re-check the HUD after each clear. In the captured run, it changes from pipeline clearing to returning to the Diving Bell.
  5. Treat the between-dive supply screen as patch-sensitive. The game description confirms gear upgrades, but item costs and effect values can change.

What is still unknown?

No public official source currently establishes the best solo route, ideal crew size, safest upgrade order, exact stamina math, death penalties or a fixed number of pipelines for every dive. Those details should remain unclaimed until a current developer source or reproducible gameplay capture supports them.

Which sources support this guide?

The broad loop comes from the official Roblox game page and the experience’s official badge feed. Tutorial details were checked against community gameplay at The Flats and a full-run capture showing both the pipeline objective and the later return-to-bell prompt.
